teamLab and Hiroshi Senju to Unveil Digital Wave Installation in Osaka

Known to offer awe-inspiring displays, teamLab merges science with creativity to transport viewers into alternative spaces, reflecting human interaction with the natural world. Using digital technology and creative brainpower, the artist collaborative provides a variety of immersive experiences through larger-than-life light exhibitions and installations. Their latest Black Waves: Wander, Discover and Re-emerge effort submerges visitors into a dark abyss filled with colosal screens, illuminated by dreamlike waves envisioned by Nihonga painter, Hiroshi Senju.

Mirroring the banks surrounding the Dojima River Forum, teamLab’s Black Waves installation helps celebrate the venue’s 10-year anniversary and collaborative effort dubbed Waterness.
