Japanese DJ and Producer starRo Dives into his Musical Influences in an Exclusive Visual with ASICS

Shinya Mizoguchi, better known by his stage name, starRo is a Japanese DJ and Producer who is setting himself apart from the extensive electronic scene in Los Angeles. After moving to the City of Angels more than ten years ago, the artist landed a Grammy nomination for his remix of Star Lake Chorus and Mizoguchi's song “Heavy Star Movin." Although his Grammy nod is a mix of a choral group, free of an original beat or structure, starRo explains in the short visual his influences are rooted heavily Jazz, Soul, R&B and Hip Hop.  Parallel to starRo's own origins, he wears the ASICS Tarther, a Japanese-made high performance sneaker that is being introduced markets outside of the Island nation for the first time. Don't miss starRo's headlining set for the WTG event live on Facebook today here.
