Photography Youngsters and Their Gaze of LA
From punk designers and die-hard skateboarders to old, rusty cars, sunset-blessed skies and fearless youngsters, Los Angels undoubtedly holds an eclectic variety of people, places and things. Often hidden by the blanketed facade of the entertainment world, LA is home to realities both glamorous and mundane. Palms trees soar over much of its wide land and cityscapes, casting their shadows on a world of hustlers and innovators below. Recently global platform i-D selected 9 youthful photo talents to showcase their vision of Los Angeles through their lenses. Daniel Regan, Imogene Barron, Jory Lee Cordy, Grace Pickering, Chantal Anderson, Isaac Marley Morgan, Atiba Jefferson, Olivia Bee and Mike Omeally were their shooters of choice and below are their snapshots of the city.

We are most captivated by the energy that each image brings whether it be happy, melancholy, relaxed, vibrant, dull or a mixture of vibes and moods. Each photographer's attention to emotion and personality play a big part in how they translate their LA into their 2D portraiture. Through imagery, the young image-creators showcase how the hodgepodge that is Los Angeles certainly provides inhabitants with new perspectives and realities unmatched by dwellers of other cities.
