Gucci Celebrates Chinese New Year with Pooch-Inspired Campaign Shot by Petra Collins
Almost every time we cover Petra Collins' artistically curated imagery, we never fail to comment on its consistent dreaminess and intimate nature. Perhaps this ethereal quality embedded into her work is why high-profile brands like Nordstrom, adidas, Levi’s, Opening Ceremony, Calvin Klein, COS, Vans and even Gucci call on the photo artist for their visual campaign needs. This time around–for all you dog lovers out there– Collins paired up with the latter Italian luxury imprint for yet another dreamy photoshoot just in time for Chinese New Year (coming up on February 16th). Brace yourself for these uber-cute capsule collection shots:
Inspired by the two Boston Terriers (Bosco and Orso) of creative director Alessandro Michele, Gucci's latest collection is adorned with precious puppy mugs. If you've been waiting to celebrate the Year of the Dog with some pooch-covered steez, now is your chance. This season Gucci is offering up bags, jewelry, hats, shoes, polos, hoodies, bomber jackets, sweaters and denim bottoms all embellished with playful pups.
