A Peak Inside Carhartt Work In Progress Inaugural Magazine
Carhartt Work in Progress has launched a free 140-page publication celebrating music, skateboarding, art and culture. WIP magazine aims to focus on those existing within the Carhartt WIP domain and uncovering their practices and processes. The first issue is filled with thoughtful interviews, resonating stories and striking photography. WIP places artists and photographer Julian Klincewicz in center stage with a conversation discussing pop culture and the importance of not working with art curator Ligaya Salazar. Additional features include an acid-dream spring/summer editorial from London-based photographer Joyce NG and stylist Ai Kamoshita, and a look inside Berlin’s 1UP graffiti crew’s new photo book with Martha Cooper. Additionally, WIP taps architect and writer Jack Self for an essay accompanying Skateboarder Denis Lynn’s trip around Europe. WIP will be available at all Carhartt WIP stores and will be included with any web-store orders over €200 (approximately $230 USD).
