BornxRaised Take it to the Bronx for Their Female-Focused Fall Lookbook
Los Angeles label BornxRaised just dropped their second fall lookbook– this time tapping some powerful ladies to show off the seasonal gear amidst New York's changing urban landscape. Not only did the popular streetwear imprint capture the effortlessly stunning Paloma Elsesser and Venus X, but they called on photo master Renell Medrano to get the job done. The result is nothing short of awe-inspiring and empowering. Shot in her hometown, Renell made sure to highlight the FW17 wearables, the foxy models and the beauty of the Bronx despite current tensions between old dwellers and newcomers.
Paloma and Venus give us every reason to want to cop one (or all) of the featured red, yellow, black and/or white garments shown below. Aside from the two models literally serving looks and slaying the entire shoot though, the autumn-ready lookbook also takes on a socially-conscious outlook. BornxRaised founder Spanto expresses the intentionality behind the newest collection claiming, "This second delivery features T-shirts, hoodies, and cut-and-sew pieces that either literally or not-so-literally address the tension between those of us who were there and those who come later." Go ahead and peep the second FW17 offering below and buy your favorite pieces online.
