Once Again, We Brought the Heat to Paris Fashion Week
While the trends, brands, and front-row seating of Paris Fashion Week is always changing, there is one staple that never disappoints, ASICS’ annual event. Taking over more space than ever before in the city’s historical core for digital art and music, la Gaîté Lyrique, the iconic sneaker brand filled the baroque rooms to their capacity with an extensive line outside to boot. Within the main foyer, creatives from around the world were presented with the latest innovations from ASICS through ranging LED and interactive displays designed by digital art studio ExperiensS. Additionally, six classic pairs of ASICS silhouettes stood like sculptures among the attendees after being masterfully reconstructed by the young superstar designer, rokh.
As the night moved along, resident DJ and Parisian local Bambz got the party warmed up the room for a knockout, energy-boosting performance from rapper Bolémvn. Beatmaker Zoovie Kazuyoshi helped everyone wind-down, then heat up again with her collection of trap metal and underground sounds. It was then time for Tommy Genesis to light up la Gaîté Lyrique’s stage, delivering her soft-core lyrics and deep slow-trap noise through her mystifying presence. Electronic artist Poté finished off the set with a nightcap of dance-enabling drum and percussion straight from the Caribbean. While we still can’t manage to wipe the smiles off our faces from the blowout event, we are already excited knowing that there will be more ASICS-led nights in the future. Don’t miss out on getting on the list next time by staying updated with us here.
