ASICS and Footpatrol Revisit the 90's Cult Classic GEL SAGA with a Splash of Anime Influence

Our latest project with Footpatrol takes us back to the early 90s, back to a time where games consoles and cartoons ruled the TV screen.

London’s Footpatrol and teamed with with ASICS again, this time re-working the cult classic 1991 GEL SAGA. Taking notes from the Gelgoog mecha suit from classic anime television series Mobile Suit Gundam, the primary white model features a futuristic blue high enamel finish on the tiger stripes and tongue, and titanium gray suede overlays. Keeping with the same theme, the visual release for the collaboration showcases Japan's animation techniques of glowing 2D effects, dynamic camera angles, and intense fight sequences.
