Listen to Childish Gambino's Just Released Feel-Good Summer Tracks
Donald Glover, a.k.a Childish Gambino, has released two new singles just in time for the next heatwave. The tracks, "Summertime Magic" and "Feels Like Summer" were dropped this morning on streaming sites under the title Summer Pack. Although both songs are packed with feel-good vibes and Glover’s melodic tones, “Summertime Magic” is infused with light steel drums and romance, while “Feels Like Summer” picks up the pace with swaying beats and is sprinkled with some mesmerizing falsettos.
This is the first we’ve heard from the musician since his heavy-hitter “This Is America,” which sent cultural shock waves with it’s Hiro Murai directed visual back in May. Since signing with RCA Records in January, Glover has dropped four total tracks, with “Summertime Magic” being coined as the “first official single from Gambino’s forthcoming debut album” from a press announcement following the release. Fan’s are holding there breath in anticipation for a new album, while no release date has been announced, Glover recently wiped his Twitter account, which can sometimes indicate a big move.
