With Mac Miller, YG, and Travis Scott all dropping new albums over this week, it’s time to plan a weekend-long listening party.  After a mysterious giant inflatable Travis Scott head appeared on LA’s Amoeba Records and visuals accompanying his highly-anticipated album were released over the past week, fans knew the highly-anticipated ASTROWORLD album was on it’s way. Shot by David LaChapelle, the carnival themed vivid artwork takes inspiration from the now-closed Six Flags AstroWorld theme park in Houston. The 17-track record, released by Grand Hustle Records, Epic Records and Cactus Jack Records, features an array of heavy-hitter collaboraters such as Frank Ocean, Drake, Quavo, John Mayer, Stevie Wonder, Pharrell and The Weeknd.

Two years after dropping Still Brazy YG is back with his latest album Stay Dangerous. Dropped at midnight this morning, the album features 15 tracks including previously released songs ‘Handgun’ and ‘Big Bank’, which was certified gold by the RIAA. With assists from top-charting guests A$AP Rocky, Nicki Minaj, 2 Chainz, Big Sean, Ty Dolla $ign and more, this album is a safe bet for your summer banger playlist.

YG - Stay Dangerous

Going through break-ups are hard. Watching your ex move on quickly is worse. Doing it all in the public eye is what Mac Miller has had to face over the last couple of months. On his latest effort, the artist honestly sings about heartbreak and his mental state, turning his hardship and sadness into something much more beautiful. Swimming is the Pittsburgh rappers fifth album, with 13 tracks served up with the likes of Thundercat, Syd and Snoop Dog. With tons of revelations on his struggles throughout the album, fans might expect some bashing on celebrity ex Ariana Grande, but Miller takes the high road and leaves us hanging dry.
