Rejjie Snow is wasting no time kicking the new year off with some heat. Last year the Dublin, Ireland-born rap talent blessed us with a chilled-out mixtape dubbed The Moon & You, tapping the likes of Joey Bada$$, Jesse Boykins III and others. Now, as 2018 commences, he's back for more laid-back vibes and thumbs-up features. After patiently awaiting his debut album Dear Annie, Snow gives us a little taste of what's to come with Dear Annie: Vol. 1– a four-track EP teasing the fire we hope to receive in full for his February 16th album release date. The first joint, "Egyptian Luvr," will already be enough to capture your attention with feel-good production from Kaytranada and a feature from Aminé.

Dear Annie: Part 1, an album by Rejjie Snow on Spotify

Without giving too much away, I must say, "Egyptian Luvr" is my jam. From Kaytranada's two-step vibe and the smooth female vocals swimming throughout the song to the calm-yet-hard verses from Snow and Aminé, it's a 21st-century masterpiece. The following three tracks, "Désolé," "23," and "The Rain," are equally peaceful, vibey, and thoughtful joints. Listen above to Vol. 1 as we hold out breath for the latter half of Dear Annie dropping next month.
