Reebok Unveils the Inaugural Run.r 96 and Sock Run.r
Reebok has revealed two unique unisex models of the Sock Run.r and Run.r 86. While strikingly different silhouettes, each sneaker features Reebok’s signature split cushioned sole, a nod to their 1996 PUMP EVO. The design of the 3-part outsole remains fresh and modern despite being first introduced 20 years ago. Although the 1996 prototype may have been too unusual at the time and never made it into production, today’s sneaker heads are more than ready for this aesthetic and comfort. The Sock Run.r’s upper is enveloped in a blue knit which reaches just above the ankle. The technical fabric its characterized by it's molding nature which boosts comfort.
The Run.r 96 is the first of it’s kind, detailed with mesh and rubber accents, a cord lacing-system and an all-white colorway. Both models will be released June 8th in-store, and at select retailers including Barney’s, Opening Ceremony, and SSENSE.
