It doesn't take a genius to assume that the place world renown artist KAWS calls home will be filled wall-to-wall with incredible art. If the graffiti-turned-multimedia creative's own work is highly coveted the world over, with an only elite list of names that can say they have an authentic KAWS piece hanging on their walls, then one can only imagine what the man himself has on his. Thanks to publication Architectural Digest, we now get that inside look at KAWS, born Brian Donnelly's Brooklyn home. And as you would imagine, it is indeed filled wall-to-wall with incredible art, not to mention its interior design.

Gracing the cover of In Architectural Digest's December 2017, the magazine's feature and Brian brings us inside, where we see the artist himself alongside wife and sculptor Julia Chiang, and their kids, taking us around the triangle-shaped home. We're taking from room to room through pristine images that captures all the different features, artwork, furniture and more, making us look at our own "home sweet home" in absolute disgust. Decided on the triangle-shaped space designed by Wonderwal's Masamichi Katayama.
"I used to walk by here every once in a while. I wasn’t looking for a place—though I always like to look—so it was a spontaneous purchase. And after completing my main studio, which was a ground-up project, I came into this wanting to just get in as quickly as possible."

His vast art collection that dates back to the 1950's.
"I collect piece by piece. But then you get into it and you just start thinking about the missing pieces. I don’t buy art to put in specific places. I just collect what I love and hope to find a place for it to be visible. When I come home, it’s refreshing to focus on other artists."
