BAPE, ASSC and UNDEFEATED Decorate Their Own 'Gran Turismo' Supercar
More often than not, we see our favorite niche brands join forces with musicians or popular art talents for upcoming clothing drops and immersive installations. Expanding the diversity of collaborative efforts, streetwear trendsetters BAPE, UNDEFEATED and Anti Social Social Club fused creative minds with the gaming software developers at Gran Turismo for an unveiling of joint supercars. (While this may not have been what you expected, trust us when we say streetwear icons definitely make race cars look sexy.) Each individual imprint personalized a different car model with their logo and lathered the vehicle in a color palette unique to their brand. Let's take a closer look below.
In typical BAPE fashion, the Japanese-based clothing imprint dipped their Mercedes-AMG GT S in an all-over camouflage and included their ape head logo on the hood. UNDEFEATED, on the other hand, took the Porsche 911 GT3 R and turned it into an olive racer with bold red and orange lettering along the doors and several "5 strikes" emblems on the hood. This left Anti Social Social Club to re-imagine the McLaren 650S which they've done beautifully with an all-pink paint job and additional South Korean flag motifs on the doors (seen above). Get a detailed look at each Gran Turismo racer below.
