AppleCore Chronicles Human Life in it's Latest FW18 Collection, 'Identity'
Parisian contemporary label AppleCore is back with a selection of conceptual pieces, entitled ‘Identity’ for Fall/Winter 2018. Staying true to it’s basics, the range offers French ateliers craftsmanship with minimalist silhouettes and bold graphics. Led by creative duo Moriba-Maurice Koné and Steven Alexis, the lookbook forms a collective story, which explores philosophical themes.
Neutral, colorless pieces spearhead the collection, which symbolize the purity of newborn life, while a selection of various colors follow, embodying the onslaught of experiences which come with age. Lastly, dark undertones creep into the lineup, reflecting our human fears and struggles. Overall, ‘Identity’ stays true to the brand’s core of authentic and innovative design.
