Graffiti artist 1010 (pronounced ten-ten) first took to the streets in 1994. Currently working in Hamburg, 1010 has become one of the most renowned urban artists in Germany for his obscure street pieces underlined by amazing effects of optical illusion. Each 1010 artwork invites the spectator to enter a curious world of graphic portals and alluring colors. Although he has been active for more than a decade, 1010’s identity remains a mystery, despite many attempts to find out who he exactly is. Fortunately, this puzzling fact only makes his art seem more mysterious and adventurous.
