The porn industry is much more of complex thing than many realize. While on the surface, it’s either looked upon as either a form of degrading represents the sin of humankind, or simply a form of adult entertainment to be used willy nilly (mind the pun), porn and all the elements that happen behind the screen holds much more severity to both the actors and the viewer’s mindset than you would think. The industry is known for being highly misogynistic, corrupt and riddled with drugs and abuse, and only now are we made aware of the few that are fighting for social justice and fairness within the X-rated entertainment’s work place.
