Tokyo is a gem. As one of the world’s most liveable cities, it is also one of the world’s pioneer hubs when it comes to business, fashion and pop culture, to name a few. The city’s mystifyingly ancient, yet so far in the future allure has influenced films like Sir Ridley Scott’s legendary Sci-Fi film, Blade Runner, to undeniably having a resounding presence with streetwear giants like Supreme. As an ode to this beautiful city of 13 million, photographer, Swann, has captured the beautiful Japanese capitol in rustic 35mm film. The pictures showcase all of the city’s famous neon-lit skyline, architecture, manga and of course all that weird shit Japanese people love to eat and partake in. Once you’ve peeped the photos, be sure to also check out photographer Takashi Yasui, who also captures Tokyo in a stunning light.
