Premiering Electronic Band Pool Cosby’s Feature-Heavy Debut Album ‘Blind Gold’

If you’re looking for something eclectic to listen to, something new that’ll take you places as you begin your weekend, something that showcases the talents of a wide spectrum of genres and artists, then look no further–we got you. Brooklyn-based electronic band Pool Cosby may be new on the scene, but they’ve proved themselves enough already to have garnered the praise and collaborating nod-of-approval from a diverse bevy of notable names. And this is just for their debut album. Entitled Blind Gold, the impressive 13-track project comes chockfull of sounds, from R&B and soul, to hip hop, electronic and trip-hop; it’s a varied ensemble with each song easily enjoyed as a standout single.

The sample-based group, comprised of band members Jacuzzi Jefferson, Otto Botté and Kevin Kuh, already come with some traction in their local scene, having ranked at #1 on Reverbnation’s experimental artists in Brooklyn, as well as The Deli Magazine Emerging NY Artist chart. But credentials aside, it’s the music that matters, and with the likes of Raekwon, Kool A.D., Brian Jackson, Tiger Darrow, and Hannah Sumner, plus many more all featured on their first full-length album… well, it all speaks for itself.
