Moody and Electrifying Digital Artworks from Young Designer, Mateusz Lengling
If you’ve been following us for a while, you may have caught on to how much we love our collages. Whether it’s the fanciful collage works of Amanda Durepos, the surreal fashion renderings of Volodymyr Kovpak, the beautifully distorted cut-out work of Anna Bu Kliewer, or the bizarre new worlds created by Jake Lee, collages allow us to lose ourselves in impeccably pieced-together works of art. One young collage artist who has caught our eye this time is Poland-based graphic designer, Mateusz Lengling. By infusing familiar entities like technology, animals and everyday objects into his digital illustrations, this 19-year-old mastermind defies the way we might define a portrait.
Take the image above for example. Lengling’s thoughtfully crafted collages provide an intimate gaze at humanity while still maintaining surreal peculiarities. Though some of his digitally rendered pieces are seen drenched in moody black and white hues, others reach out and grab your attention with their electrifying hints of neon. The following artwork comes from Lengling’s “Various Illustrations” collection on Behance, so after giving it a peek, make sure to follow the bourgeoning design artist on Instagram to keep up with his latest offerings.
