Meet The Third Grade Punk Band From The Early ’90s: Old Skull

Back when we were in third grade, we could barely tidy our room let alone function as a three-piece punk rock band that played live gigs, got record deals from respectable labels, produce music videos and acting like straight up badasses. Meet Old Skull, the third grade punk band that did all that and then some. OK, to be fair on all of us, the trio pre-teens, which included JP and Jamie Toulon, and JP Davies, were in fact the sons of rock dads: Missing Foundation’s Vern Toulon and Tar Babies’ Robin Davies respectively… So it’s safe to say they had somewhat of a helping hand.

That being said, we had the support and help from our parents and we still failed miserably at accomplishing anything, so to be that young and still be signed to legendary label Restless Records all before hitting puberty is a feat worth recognizing, which is why we’ve got a number of Old Skull material here for you to enjoy. Check out a handful of the band’s official music videos and live concerts throughout, and head here to learn a fair bit more on the band during their prime of the late ’80s/early ’90s courtesy of our friends over at Dangerous Minds.
