LUNICE Serves up Some Heated Dance Moves in his Latest Video for “Mazerati”
Montreal producer LUNICE has clearly stepped out of his shell with a serious attitude of confidence seen in his latest visual effort for “Mazerati.” Born Lunice Fermin Pierre II, the musician is also known as one half of production duo TNGHT together with Hudson Mohawk. Not shying away from his typical ground shattering beats for the new track, the Canadian also does what he can to personally shatter things up through dance form. The contemporary moves a reminiscent of So You Think You Can Dance, where we typically see the underdog step up for a performance that shakes the audience.
In “Mazerati,” you can clearly see LUNICE’s heartfelt emotions flow directly through his moves, resulting in a sequence that slowly but steadily grows in passion and intensity, which reaches its boil point right at the tail end. While first and foremost a music producer, dance has apparently always been in the mix, with LUNICE stating to The Fader that “Dance has always been key in how I approach music.” He then adds that “when I started production on ‘Mazerati,’ the notion of how I would perform this track was always at the back of my mind. ‘Mazerati’ is a direct product of that conversation: it’s a theatrical roller coaster ride.” Check out the seriously heated moves from LUNICE in “Mazerati” above, then head here for more from the artist.
