Lil Yachty Finally Drops his Debut Studio Album ‘Teenage Emotions’
It’s been a long time coming, but today marks the day when Miles Parks McCollum aka Lil Boat aka Lil Yachty has finally dropped his much anticipated full-length studio album Teenage Emotions–and it’s fucking great. While the project is indeed the Georgia-native’s first official LP effort, it’s not as if he’s a stranger to the hip hop landscape, having made his first wave with “One Night” and “Minnesota” off of his debut mixtape Summer Songs back in 2015. A plethora of features, singles and another mixtape entitled Lil Boat, has also cemented Lil Yachty as one to watch leading up to 2017, where he’s now strutting down red carpets for the Grammys and the Met Gala.
As for the new album, we’ve also already had a taste from its 21-track ensamble, with the pre-album releases of “Peek A Boo” featuring Migos, “Harley,” “Bring It Back,” and “X Men” featuring Evander Griiim. And then there was news that Yachty would be bringing on the likes of YG, Diplo, and Kamaiyah among others on to the project. What remained was the actual album itself and how it would all sound. Well here it is, ready for its full listen. We certainly dig the effort, now it’s up to you to come to your own decision. Enjoy Teenage Emotions up top.
