It’s all Black & White in ’47’s Lookbook Featuring French Rapper S.PRI NOIR

With the doors to iconic sports imprint ’47 pop-up space now open, held at Paris’ retail mecca Citadium, we’re now proud to present the exclusive editorial that brings on France’s breakout rapper S.PRI NOIR of “Skywalker” fame. The former French american football champion-turned-rapper has been garnering a steady fan base from his unique cadence and sound. With the global hip hop landscape currently awash with similar sounding acts that jump on to whatever trend happened yesterday, NOIR does things to the beat of his own drum, and it’s incredibly refreshing to say the least.

To help capture the rapper stunting the monochromatic campaign that we’ve produced to pay homage to both the Boston-based brand’s 1947-born heritage, and MLB’s two iconic teams the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers, we partnered up with French photographer Quentin Curtat from creative studio PANAMÆRA’s (who’s shot videos for the likes of Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q, Nekfeu and Mai Lan to name a few), who continues the campaign’s theme of tonal black & white. The shots showcase both the products in support of the NY Yankees, clad it all black, and the LA Dodgers in stark white.
