INNOCNTS Team up With Skate Staple GLOBE for a 3-Deck Artist Series Dubbed “Friends with Benefits”

Los Angeles’ lifestyle-based ‘project’ INNOCNTS, an imprint that deals in “fringe lifestyles, artistic nostalgia, and the interstitial space where high and low culture meet,” have teamed up with one of skateboarding’s most iconic staples, GLOBE for a special capsule collection entitled “Friends with Benefits.” The project focuses on three artist and friends of the imprint, Jose Araujo, Rye Purvis and Stacy Kranitz (stay tuned for a fleshed-out profile piece on Kranitz from our Curators section to come), each of whom have come up with a completely unique deck that features a piece of their work.

The three artists’ decks range in shape, from one that’s perfect for “liquor store runs,” to skatepark session-appropriate ones, each being limited to a run of only 50, and comes complete with the artist’s name and deck number etched on. In addition to the varying decks, the capsule collection also includes a specially-designed T-shirt that incorporates both brand’s logos, as well as straight dope iconography and designs like the snake and rose in contrasting art styles. Check out the visuals from the INNOCNTS x GLOBE capsule collection’s official lookbook throughout, then look to cop the decks for yourself at INNOCNTS’ online store as they’re now available.
