Hailing from South Korea, IISE is a contemporary fashion imprint that delivers fashion and accessories under an incredibly clean and coherent aesthetic that pulls directly from its Korean roots in terms of design and fit. Following its continued effort to instill more Asian looks into the realm of contemporary streetwear, ISSE has just put out its latest lookbook for Spring/Summer 2017 that showcases its new collection, simply dubbed “004.” The editorial highlights the new range of warm-weather appropriate basics, such as T-Shirts, shorts, and a number of outerwear pieces, all under a muted color pallet of earth tones: jade green, ocean blue, charcoal black and cream white.
Said to be inspired by the architecture from the brand’s home country, the collection features silhouettes that form straight lines from its oversized fits, coupled with linear design patterns and color blocking that gives a nod at Korea’s traditional Hanbok designs. As for the collection’s construction, IISE brings on modern lightweight fabrics–another season-appropriate detail–that were bio-washed, creating a series of unique streaks and textures found throughout. The ISSE “004” collection is readily available, and can be found at their online webstore here, with prices ranged between $75 USD and $355 USD.
