Ho99o9’s “United States Of Horror” Is The Subjection Of What’s Wrong With America
Originally hailing from New Jersey, hip hop’s Ho99o9–a group founded by theOGM and Eaddy–have been steadily amassing a cult following to their hardcore/horrorcore hip hop music. Having moved base to Los Angeles in 2014, the group has garnered even more attention, especially for their high octane live performances. With an impending album to drop May 5 this year dubbed United States of Horror, Ho99o9 have recently put out the official visual to the namesake track to help get the ball rolling for “Horror World Extermination.” The vignette itself is a gritty display of horrific scenes from America’s storied history–from racism to social injustice to acts of violence–all subjected into the mind of the viewer; be it the character in the film or us the viewer. It’s a harsh slap in the face to wake us up to the horrors of the world, or more specifically America. Check it out in the jump above, and head here to pre-order the album.
