Hip Hop-R&B Duo THEY. Drop a Dark & Sexy Video for “Deep End”
Ever since the release of their anticipated and now critically-acclaimed debut studio album Nü Religion: HYENA, Los Angeles-based duo Drew and Dante–collectively known as THEY.–have been steadfast in following the project up with accompanying visuals and performances. Their latest efforts provides the official music video for their track “Deep End,” that brings on a moody and sexy vibe, perfectly fitting the single’s “dark and seductive score.”
With Ze’ev Waismann at the helm as director (known for working with the likes of Nike, adidas, Foot Locker, and other efforts with THEY.), the visuals follow Drew and Dante as they coast down moon-lit streets in a blacked-out vintage Pontiac GTO in search of the one that got away, interspersed with smokey (and steamy) scenes of the three, complete with sexy silhouette shots throughout. As for what the two have to say on the video, “We wanted to capture the feelings you get from listening to the song from a stylistic standpoint with the vintage leather and the vintage muscle car. Beyond that, the comparison of the wolf and the female is the most important–the wolf disguised as a woman is a representation of the vices of the weekend.
