Classic Streetwear Meets Retro Sportswear in Stanton Street Sports’ Latest Collection

As fans of fashion retail imprint Only NY, naturally we’re down with anything they create in-house, such as their division brand Stanton Street Sports–or “SSS” for short–that was founded and named after the location of Only NY’s flagship store. The sub-line manages to blend perfectly two aesthetics that we so enjoy here at Unrated: classic streetwear and retro sportswear, and offers such a beautiful marriage in limited qualities. These rarely produced pieces are coveted, and for good reason: their designs brings back a sense of nostalgia for anyone that’s been in the streetwear scene for a minute and a half.

For SSS’ latest collection, seasoned for Spring/Summer 2017, the imprint has put out a ’90s throwback fashion editorial that works wonders in presenting its ’90s-inspired designs. Shot by Berlin-based photographer Roberto Brundo, the visuals take on a retro magazine-lookbook style approach, with a good mix of location shots, from the streets to sport courts, to classic clean backdrops. A range itself offers a diverse color palette of basics, with a mix of that aforementioned pairing of streetwear branding and sportswear graphics. Have a look through the editorial images throughout, then head to either Only NY’s online webstore, or their 176 Stanton Street, New York location to look about copping.
