Check Out the Trailer for Nasty Gal Founder’s Very own Netflix Series

For any of you fashion/thrift store/eBay heads out there that already know or have had personal experience shopping at Nasty Gal, then you’ll do yourself some injustice by not tuning in on the upcoming Netflix series based on the brand and its founder’s trail, tribulation and success story. For those unfamiliar with Nasty Gal and who Sophia Amoruso is, but still feel like they’re in the know within the fashion industry, then you’ll need to check yourself and get in on one of today’s most compelling entrepreneur journeys, as told through the aforementioned TV series aptly entitled Girlboss, the title taken from Amoruso’s New York Bestselling book.

Girlboss is, as mentioned, a television series that is loosely based around Sophia Amoruso and what she went through to establish one of e-commerce’s most notable names: Nasty Gal, with actor Britt Robertson playing the part of Amoruso. While talks of the show have been circulating for a minute now, we finally get a 2-minute official trailer showing just how sassy Robertson’s Amoruso is (maybe a bit too sassy?…). The trailer also points towards there being no mention of the brand’s file for bankruptcy, or the controversy surrounding the alleged mistreatment of Amoruso’s female employees, but who knows–that could make for an epic season finale. Check out the trailer in the jump above, and make sure you tune in for its premier come April 21.
