Bompas & Parr Puts Out A Cheekily Cute (And Very Rude) Font Artwork
It’s not all flowers and chocolate for Valentine’s Day it seems. Liverpool, UK’s Bompas & Parr, a studio specializing in “flavour-based experience design, culinary research, architectural installations and contemporary food design,” have decided to do things a little different this year by whipping up an A-Z font aptly titled “Grope Sans.” The design, as you can very much tell, is a tongue-in-cheek display of groping, with dare we say “cute” depictions of our “no-no” parts.
The idea actually came from the studio’s Grope Mountain installation: a climbing wall where the grips are replaced with private part shaped ones. Illustrated by the studio’s graphic designer Flo Fairweather, “Gope Sans” is now our go to typeface for, well, pretty much anything now. And if spelling things out in groped genitals isn’t enough for you, feel free to visit the aforementioned “Grope Mountain” which is open today.
