ASICS Tiger has been an integral part of sneaker history, having outdated many of its popular counterparts as an imprint that provided innovation and technology within runner and lifestyle footwear. In a bid to celebrate one of its more iconic silhouettes, brand has put popular GEL-Kayano back on the map with a more updated makeover. The storied brand first introduced the GEL-Kayano back in 1993, and has since been looked at as the go-to option for anyone active in running as well as active in the style. With its place firmly cemented within sneaker enthusiasts from the Generation Y era, ASICS Tiger is offering these “baby boomers” a contemporary approach to the sneaker they grew up with.

For its new GEL-Kayano campaign in collaboration with creative agency The Adventures Of of Berlin, the brand has put out a collection of five different iterations of the model, all of which comes with knit construction that follows the ethos of “We all are equal, we are made of the same stuff.” Design wise, ASICS Tiger has kept things minimalistic while maintaining its signature branded detailing and performance attributes. The campaign kicks off this month and will run through to April, with the five models coming in 10 possible colorway options.
