American PLAYBOY: Amazon’s Docuseries on the Story of Legendary Hugh Hefner

PLAYBOY Magazine, is without doubt the adult entertainment publication that’s most well known the world over by many generations, however as with all things that shine under the lime light, there’s always much more to the story. Thanks to Amazon, we’ll get a glimpse at a lot of what truly went down during the rise of the recognized title, as told through its founder Hugh Hefner–or as he states in the first officially released trailer, “at least how I remember it.”

The teaser trailer reveals that the upcoming docuseries, titled American Playboy: The Hugh Hefner Story, will feature a mix of rare, unseen footage from Hefner’s personal archive, as well as well-produced reenactments that will help pain the picture of the entrepreneur’s success story, filled with all sorts of controversies and challenges, as well as the platform’s synonymous parties, mansions and of course, the bunnies. Check out the teaser trailer above, and make sure you tune in to Amazon Prime come April 7, when the first season will premier. The first episode can also be viewed for free on playboy.com during April 7-13.
