STAMPD has been on a serious run since, well… its inception as a brand back in 2011, with the likes of K-Pop mega star G-Dragon showing love from the onset, to having it’s founder/designer Chris Stamp winning GQ’s 2015 Best Men’s Wear Designer in America award, to becoming a finalist for the 2016 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund. The streetwear imprint has been an avid representative of West Coast fashion, and while there’s still debate on whether Los Angeles is worthy of holding high credentials as a fashion capitol, it’s brands like STAMPD that’s helping to lean the bar thataway.

If you’re still unconvinced for some reason, check out its latest collection–originally unveiled last summer at NYFW:M–seasoned for Spring/Summer 2017 and dubbed “Against the Grain.” Pulling away from your typical current streetwear sensibility, the brand has opted to rework classic military wear into the minimalistic, sleek aesthetic that STAMPD is known well for. The range includes basic pieces perfect for the warmer weather, with a subdued and muted–almost Earth-toned–color palette found throughout. Check out STAMPD’s official lookbook for “Against the Grain” in the gallery above, then head over to their website’s store to look about copping the pieces, as they’re all readily available.
