The adaptation film of Ghost in the Shell has received a tremendous amount of flack for cultural reasons that need not to be explained here on this platform. However, there are other creative elements of the film worth taking note of – specifically, the visually enriched world created for the movie.
The production itself called upon the talents of industry-leading artists to create and execute visually rich concepts on the screen. These artists created this world using original source material and images of Hong Kong, weapons, vehicles and military garb.
