1957 Jaguar XKSS is a phenomenal piece of machinery–anyone with a pair of eyes can agree on that. But what makes the vintage car so special is its unfortunate backstory. While many car models are made limited to many different reasons in an attempt to stamp it rare, the Jaguar XKSS gets its rareness from the unfortunate burning down of the Browns Lane plant in 1957, destroying the remaining chassis of the car, leaving only 16 completed models left in the world. The above showcases one of them, which maintains its original Chassis, but comes with show-quality restoration–hence its pristine looks.
